Questions
- What is Spinstage?
- A free spin wheel for live rooms. Class, stream, raffle, or a yes or no. The list lives in the link.
- Is it free?
- Yes. No account. No paywall on spin.
- Do I need to sign in?
- No. Open it and spin.
- How does Spinstage compare to other free spin wheels?
- No account. Free. Classroom, OBS, and raffle pages. Eliminate after a win. Other free wheels vary. The compare page has the grid.
- How do I pick a random name?
- Put the names on the wheel and hit spin, or the space bar. One name lands. Every name has the same slice.
- Does this work on a classroom projector?
- Yes. Open the wheel, go fullscreen, spin with the button or the space bar.
- How do I use this in OBS?
- Open the OBS page. Add a Browser Source at 1080 by 1080. Paste the source link. Chrome stays off. Space spins.
- Is the spin fair?
- Equal slices, one spin. Swap the list if you need a redraw.
- Where do the names live?
- In the link, and on this device. Nobody signs in. Swap the list whenever you want.
- Can I share the same wheel?
- Yes. Copy the link. Same title, same slices, same spin.
- Can I embed Spinstage on an LMS, Notion, or Linktree?
- Yes. Open the embed page for a copy-paste snippet and a live demo. Or open Share and Copy embed on the stage. Use a min height of 540. src=1 is OBS chrome-light, not embed.
- Can I take a name off after it wins?
- Yes. Eliminate the winner on the reveal, then spin again.
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes. The stage fits a phone. A projector or a laptop is better for a room.
- How do I go fullscreen?
- Hit F, or the fullscreen control. Esc leaves fullscreen.
